Cassey Salina was born about 1843. Cassey Salina's father was Jacob Shaver and her mother was Tabitha Griffen. Her paternal grandparents were William Shaver and Leah Norris. She had three brothers and five sisters, named William Henry, Jacob Granville, Edgar, Edith, Dorcas T., Prudence, Mary C. and Harriet. She was the third youngest of the nine children. She died after 1870.-
