Jane was born about 1505 in Wolf Hall, Savernake, Wiltshire, England.  Jane's father was John IV Seymour and her mother was Margery Wentworth.  Her paternal grandparents were John III Seymour and Elizabeth Darrell; her maternal grandparents were Henry Wentworth and Anne de Say. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Edward, Thomas, Anthony, Henry, John, Dorothy, Elizabeth and Margery.  She was the third oldest of the nine children.  She died on October 24th, 1537 in Hampton Court Palace, Richmond, Surrey, England.  She was buried on November 12th, 1537 in St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, Berkshire, England.
