Erasmus Abel Pope

Erasmus Abel was born on December 12th, 1831 in Fayette Ohio. Erasmus Abel's father was John Pope and his mother was Jemima Randall. His paternal grandparents were Peter Pope and Catherine Hefner; his maternal grandparents were Jacob Randall and Amelia Jochem. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Peter, Jacob R., John W., Henry W., Harvey D., George L., William Addison, Amelia, Ruth T. and Mary C.. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 66 on April 29th, 1898.
