Joshua Peirce 
Joshua was born in Somerset County, England. Joshua's father was George II Peirce and his mother was Ann Gainer. His paternal grandparents were George Peirce and Margaret Synam; his maternal grandparents were William Gayner and Ann Jones. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Caleb I, John, Gainer, George III, Betty, Margaret, Mary, Hannah and Ann. He died on September 15th, 1752 in Kennett Township, Pennsylvania.General Notes
