John Critton Miles 
John Critton was born on December 13th, 1818 in Ohio. John Critton's father was John Miles and his mother was Mary Polly Stoker. His maternal grandparents were John Stoker and Elizabeth Critton. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Josiah, Jacob, Isaac, William, Elizabeth, Hannah and Frances Marie. He is the fourth youngest of the eight children.-
