John Madison 
John was born about 1725 in King and Queen County, Virginia. John's father was Ambrose Madison and his mother was Frances Taylor. His paternal grandparents were John Madison and Isabella Todd Minor; his maternal grandparents were James Taylor and Martha Thompson. He had a brother and two sisters, named James, Elizabeth and Frances. He died in March 1784 in Visses, Botetourt County, Virginia.General Notes
