Sarah was born in 1639 in Dinton, Wiltshire, England or Fairfield, Connecticut. Sarah's father was Roger Ludlow and her mother was Mary Cogan Endicott. Her paternal grandfather was Thomas Ludlow and her paternal grandmother is Jane Pyle. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Jonathan, Roger, Anne and Mary. She died at the age of 36 in 1675 in Farfield, Connecticut. She was buried in Setauket, Suffolk County, New York.General Notes
