William Largent

William was born in 1831 in Hampshire County, Virginia (now West Virginia). William's father was James T. Largent and his mother was Elizabeth Boxwell. His paternal grandparents were John L. Largent and Sarah Critton; his maternal grandfather was Joseph Boxwell and his maternal grandmother is Leannah Bonham. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named John, James J., William, Henry, Madison, Gabriel, Deborah, Sarah Ann, Rachel, Alice, Nancy, Elizabeth and Virginia. He is the fourth oldest of the fourteen children.
