Thomas was born on April 13th, 1743 in Shadwell, Albermarle County, Virginia. Thomas' father was Peter Jefferson and his mother was Jane Randolph. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Jefferson and Mary Field; his maternal grandparents were Isham Randolph and Jane Rogers. He had a sister named Mary. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 83 on July 4th, 1826 in Monticello, Albermarle County, Virginia. He was buried in Monticello, Albermarle County, Virginia.-
