Herbert Clark was born on August 10th, 1874 in West Branch, iowa. Herbert Clark's father was Jesse Clark Hoover and his mother was Hulda Randall Minthorn. His maternal grandparents were Theodore Minthorn and Mary Wasley. He had a brother and a sister, named Theodore Jesse and Mary. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 90 on October 20th, 1964 in New York City, New York, USA. He was buried in West Branch, Iowa.-
