Eleanor Hite 
Eleanor was born on November 5th, 1749 in Stephens City, Frederick County, Virginia. Eleanor's father was John Hite and her mother was Zara Eltinge. Her paternal grandparents were Jost Hite and Anna Maria Merckle. She had a brother and four sisters, named John, Margaret, Rebecca, Sarah and Anna Marie. She is the second youngest of the six children.-
