Johannes Hering 
Johannes was born on April 14th, 1765 in Greenwich Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. Johannes' father was Johann Georg Hering and his mother was Marcretha Unangst. His paternal grandfather was Johann Georg Hering; his maternal grandparents were Andreas Unangst and Maria Katharina Brunn. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Johan Georg, Andreas, Maria Magdalena, Catharine Elisabeth and Maria. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 70 in 1835 in Greenwich Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. He was buried in New Bethel Zion Cemetery, Kutztown, Pennsylvania.-
