Rachel Harper 
Rachel was born about 1850. Rachel's father was Samuel A. Harper and her mother was Mary Shaver. Her maternal grandparents were Paul Shaver and Caroline Sarah Harper. She had five brothers and two sisters, named John C., Lafayette, Sylvester, Martin, Ulysses Samuel, Sarah A. and Mary. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died after 1877.-
