Sophia (Agnes) of Franconia was born in 1074. Sophia (Agnes) of Franconia's father was Henry IV of Franconia Germany and her mother is Bertha de Maurienne de Savoie. Her paternal grandparents were Henry III the Black of Germany and Agnes de Poitou de Aquitaine; her maternal grandparents were Odo (Otto) I de Maurienne de Savoie and Adelaide de Susa de Turin. She had two brothers and a sister, named Conrad of Franconia, Henry V of Franconia and Adelheid of. She died at the age of 69 on September 24th, 1143.-
