William George

William was born on August 18th, 1801.  William's father was Thomas George and his mother was Catherine McCoy.  His maternal grandfather was William McCoy. He had two brothers and nine sisters, named John A., Thomas Lewis, Mary, Sarah, Elizabeth, Catherine, Cynthia, Della, Jane, Malinda and Margaret.  He died about 1877.

‌William and Ruth were married in a religious ceremony on October 5th, 1831.  They had a son named Henry Hunter.
