Maria Margaret was born on October 19th, 1782 in Stouchburg, Berks County, Pennsylvania. Maria Margaret's father was John Adam Fisher and her mother was Margaretha Elizabeth Reid. Her paternal grandparents were Johannes Jacob Fisher and Ragina Maria Frederick. She had nine brothers named Johan Adam, Christian, John, Benjamin, John George, Peter, John Jacob, John Michael and David. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died in Augusta, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.-
