Jacob Fisher 
Jacob was born in 1762 in Rockingham County, Virginia. Jacob's father was Johan Adam Fisher and his mother was Christina Burkstoler. His paternal grandparents were Johann Sabastian Michael Fisher and Susanna Ulrich. He had five brothers and two sisters, named John, George, Michael, Solomon, Adam, Mary Elizabeth and Catherine. He died at the age of 77 on January 25th, 1839 in Hardy County, West Virginia. He was buried in Marpleton Cemetery, Braxton County, West Virginia.General Notes
Some sources list his birth in October 1758 and his parents as John Adam
Fisher and Christina Burkstoler Fisher while many historians believe that
the Jacob who married Catherine Skidmore was the son of George Fisher and
Elizabeth Conrad Fisher. Virginia research should prove or disprove his
parentage. Some sources list his death on January 25, 1839.

Elizabeth was born on February 9th, 1792 in Hardy County, West Virginia. She died at the age of 69 on September 23rd, 1861.
