Hannah was born on April 28th, 1691 in Thornbury, Chester County, Pennsylvania. Hannah's father was Thomas Eavenson and her mother was Elizabeth Woodward. Her paternal grandparents were Radulphus Eavenson and Cicely Orton; her maternal grandparents were Edward Woodward and Alice Scrope. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Richard, Thomas, Ralph, Mary and Sarah. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Ralph, Richard and Mary.
