Hannah was born in 1750 in Concord, Thornbury Township, Chester (now Delaware) County, Pennsylvania.  Hannah's father was Nathaniel Eavenson and her mother was Elizabeth Palmer.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard Eavenson and Jemima Newlin; her maternal grandparents were John Jr. Palmer and Martha Yearsley. She had a brother and five sisters, named Richard, Martha, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Jemima and Lydia.  She was the second oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 74 in September 1824 in Pennsylvania.


Hannah's family with Moses Cox

‌Hannah and Moses were married in a religious ceremony on December 10th, 1766 in Concordville, Chester or in Christ Church, Philadelphia or Delaware County, Pennsylvania.  They had six sons and a daughter, named Emmer C., Benjamin, Nathaniel, Moses, Caleb, Hiram and Mary.
