John Dyer 
John was born in 1757 in Augusta, Pendleton County, Virginia. John's father was William John Dyer and his mother was Margaret Hiatt. His paternal grandparents were Roger Sr. Dyer and Hannah Smith; his maternal grandparents were John Jr. Hiatt and Rachel Margaret Wilson. He had a brother named Roger. He was the younger of the two children. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Robert, William, Joseph, James, Mary, Hannah and Margaret. He died at the age of 55 on January 12th, 1812 in Franklin County, Ohio.-
