Nancy Dawson 
Nancy was born on August 12th, 1836 in Hampshire County, Virginia (now West Virginia). Nancy's father was Critton Dawson and her mother was Margaret A. Johnson. Her paternal grandparents were Abraham Jr. Dawson and Mary Critton; her maternal grandfather was Joseph Johnson. She had three brothers and a sister, named William, Joseph N., Samuel and Ida. She was the oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 75 on January 27th, 1912 in Peoria County, Illinois. She was buried on January 30th, 1912 in Oak Hill Cemetery, Peoria, Illinois.-
