George Armstrong Custer 
George Armstrong was born on December 5th, 1839 in New Rumley, Ohio. George Armstrong's father was Emanuel Henry Custer and his mother was Maria Kirkpatrick Ward. His paternal grandparents were John Custer and Catherine Valentine. He had three brothers and a sister, named Nevin Johnson, Boston, Thomas W. and Margaret. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named James, Brice William, John A. and Hannah. He died at the age of 36 on June 25th, 1876 in Little Big Horn Battlefield, Big Horn County, Montana.
