Hannah Hawes Cowger 
Hannah Hawes was born on February 27th, 1778 in Hampshire County, Virginia. Hannah Hawes' father was George Cowger and her mother was Hannah Elizabeth Hawes. Her maternal grandparents were Peter Henry Hawes and Sarah Dyer. She had two brothers named Henry and John. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 83 on February 18th, 1862.-
