Christopher Stanfort Chritton 
Christopher Stanfort was born in 1793 in Hampshire County, Virginia (now West Virginia). Christopher Stanfort's father was Issac Critton and his mother was Elizabeth Mann. His paternal grandparents were John Sr. Critton and UNKNOWN Mary; his maternal grandfather was Christopher Mann. He was an only child. He died at the age of 57 on January 27th, 1850 in Crawfordsville, Montgomery County, Indiana.General Notes

Some sources list his birth in 1792 and his death in 1849. His original
name was Critton but he later spelled it Chritton as do his descendants-
