David Darby 
David was born on October 11th, 1855 in Sheffield, England. David's father was Thomas Darby and his mother was Lucy Davies. His paternal grandparents were David Darby and Anna Trawford; his maternal grandparents are Thomas Davies and Rose Troman. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Thomas Jr., William, Samuel, Mark, Matthew, John, Joseph, Ann, Rose Hannah, Lucy, Sarah Ann and Amelia Ann. He was the second oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 73 on January 18th, 1929 in Hickory Twp, Hermitage, PA.-

David and Laura Jane were married in a religious ceremony on June 10th, 1880 in Sharon Episcopal Methodist Church. They had two sons and three daughters, named David H., William Thomas, Mable, Lucy F. and Margaret Elizabeth.
