‌Tobias (Tobie) and Martha Jane were married in a religious ceremony on October 9th, 1884 in Franklin Co., Virginia.¹   They had five sons and five daughters, named William Thomas, Grover S., John W., James Elbert, Robert G., Cora S., Fannie C., Okey D., Katie N. and Lucy.
