James Elbert Basham

James Elbert was born about 1892 in Virginia.¹   James Elbert's father was Tobias (Tobie) Basham and his mother was Martha Jane Preston. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William Thomas, Grover S., John W., Robert G., Cora S., Fannie C., Okey D., Katie N. and Lucy.  He was the fourth oldest of the ten children.  He died after 1910.¹
