Roy Clinton was born on March 6th, 1920 in Beaumont, Jefferson Co., Texas.1 Roy Clinton's father was Charles Andrew Young and his mother was Ethel Estelle (Twin) Bassham. His maternal grandparents were Isaac Newton Bassham and Jane Adeline Page. He had a sister named Willa Mae. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 84 on January 30th, 2005.1 General Notes

ss ed away peacefully Sunday, January 30, 2005 surrounded by his famil
y. He w as born March 6, 1920 in Beaumont, Texas, served honorably in t
he U.S. Na vy during World War II, and wed Rita Ann Corbell on September 2
7, 19 62 in Seward, Alaska. He loved people and never met a strange
r. He is surv ived by his wife, Mrs. Rita Young; children, Jens Young, Tam
mie Breshear s, Carol Ann Dawson, and her husband Bob Dawson; 18 grandchil
dren, a nd 15 great grandchildren. He was predeceased in death by his pare
nts, Cha rles and Estelle Young; children Charles Young, Margaret Davis, a
nd Rex Yo ung; siblings, Sissy Wardlow and Virgil Young. Assisted by Fami
ly Funer al Care, Oviedo and under the direction of Bishop Cory Roberts, s
ervices w ill be held at 11AM, Friday, February 5, 2005 at the Oviedo Chap
el of t he Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 350 Arte
sia Aven ue, Oviedo. Viewing will be at the church before the service fr
om 9:30- 10 :30AM. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in B
ushnell, Flo rida. We love you and miss you so much.
