Wily Moses was born on June 17th, 1850 in Neshoba Co., Mississippi.1 Wily Moses' father is John Chambers Warren and his mother is Ann M. Warren. His paternal grandfather was William Hackley Warren and his paternal grandmother is Isabella Hamilton Chambers. He had six brothers and a sister, named James Augustus, George W., John Monroe, Jefferson David, Albert G., Henry G. and Frances R.. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 71 on April 3rd, 1922 in Navarro Co., Texas. He was buried in Prarie Point Cemetery, Navarro Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
