Sylvester was born in Green Co., Kentucky.1 Sylvester's father was William Patrick Warren and his mother was Mary Warren. His paternal grandparents were Lewis Charles, Rev. Warren and Celia A. Perkins; his maternal grandparents were Richard Archie Warren and Malinda A. DeSpain. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Roy, Richard Lewis, Alvin W., Rett, Edith Catherine, Gertrude B. and Dorothy. He died on April 19th, 1959 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
