Her paternal grandfather was Robert Warren and her paternal grandmother is Martha Briscoe. She had four brothers and four sisters, named William Thomas, Robert Barton, Hugh Canida, James Madison, Martha Conway, Nancy Jane, Melvina and Permelia. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 86 on September 2nd, 1899 in Jackson Township, Linn Co., Missouri.
