William Baxter Underwood 
William Baxter was born in 1845.1 William Baxter's father was Joseph D., Jr. Underwood and his mother was Macariah Dunnagan. His paternal grandparents were Joseph D. Underwood and Winifred Henderson. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Abner Franklin, Thomas Gibbs, Jasper Williamson, Reuben Case, Delilah A., Frances Elizabeth, Bersheba Adaline, Sarah Emeline and Mary Lou. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 64 in 1909.1 General Notes
