Unknown's father was John Thomas,Jr. Underwood and her mother is Bessie Martin.  Her paternal grandparents are John Thomas Underwood and Lydia Ellen Houston. She had a brother named Oldham. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named John William, Lee Francis, Carl and Anabelle.
