Nimrod Terrell,Jr. was born on May 11th, 1861.1 Nimrod Terrell,Jr.'s father was George Terrell Underwood and his mother was Sarah Ellen Kee. His paternal grandparents were Nimrod Terrell Underwood and Sarah Ann Hamilton. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Ninrod, John Richard, Thurston Alexander, William Arthur, Harrison Culp, Harriet Elizabeth and Ada Rozelle. He was the second oldest of the eight children.
