Lula Ada Tutor 
Lula Ada was born in December 1866 in Pontotoc Co., Mississippi.1 Lula Ada's father was James Hendon Tutor and her mother was Mary Jane Foster. Her paternal grandparents were John Henry Tutor and Martha Patsy Betts. She had three brothers and four sisters, named John Hartwell, William Labon, James Herndon, Jr., Margaret Virginia, Alpha Quella, Martha Della and Mary Ella. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 80 on May 7th, 1947 in Pontotoc Co., Mississippi.1 General Notes
