Her paternal grandparents were James Stephen, Sr. Tumlinson and Mary Elizabeth White; her maternal grandparents are Scion Lee Boykin and Elizabeth E. Anderson. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named George William, Littleton F., William J., James Stephen, Bigham Scion, David Franklin, Jefferson Lee, Ann Elizabeth, Francis Permelia, Mary Margaret Ann and Tillie Olla. She was the fifth youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 91 on September 4th, 1955 in San Antonio, Bexar Co., Texas.1 General Notes
