John Jackson was born in 1776 in Lincoln Co., North Carolina.1 John Jackson's father was John Tumlinson and his mother was Martha White. He had four brothers named James Stephen, Sr., David, Joseph and Peter. He died at the age of 47 on July 5th, 1823 in Seguin, Texas.1 General Notes
