Addie Mae was born on March 28th, 1875 in Doniphan, Ripley Co., Missouri.1 Addie Mae's father was Harbird H. Towles and her mother was Elizabeth Jane Harrington. Her maternal grandfather was Miles Harrington and her maternal grandmother is Nancy J. Region. She had a brother and two sisters, named Authur, Dora and Norma. She was the second oldest of the four children. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named John A., Robert, Harbird Massey and Mary. She died at the age of 50 on November 17th, 1925 in Doniphan, Ripley Co., Missouri.1 General Notes
