John Franklin Taylor 
John Franklin was born on November 16th, 1892 in Hunt, Kerr Co., Texas.1 John Franklin's father was Amos Gayle,Rev. Taylor and his mother was Martha Matilida Graham. His maternal grandparents were Ozias Denton,Dr. Graham and Martha Matilda Thornton. He had a brother and six sisters, named Beal Denton, Sarah Elizabeth, Mary Alice, Theodocia Earnest, Sonorah Adeline, Martha Matilde and Aetna Alwilda. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 27 on September 13th, 1920 in Hunt, Kerr Co., Texas.1 General Notes
