Anna Mariah was born on April 2nd, 1868 in Hamilton Co., Illinois.1 Anna Mariah's father was Alexander M. Stafford and her mother was Artemesia Wheeler. Her maternal grandparents were Robert L.Wheeler and Mariah Elizabeth Campbell. She had a brother and five sisters, named James Franklin, Victoria P., Florence Augusta, Emma A., Fleda and Alice Abigail. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 72 on January 19th, 1941 in Hamilton Co., Illinois. She was buried on January 22nd, 1941 in IOOF Cem., Hamilton Co., Illiniois.1 1 General Notes
