Tabitha Angeline was born on April 21st, 1846 in Calloway Co., Kentucky.1 Tabitha Angeline's father was Samuel Meshack Skaggs and her mother was Sarah Elizabeth Roupe. Her paternal grandfather was Richard Skaggs and her paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Wells. She had four brothers and four sisters, named William Franklin, Andrew Preston, John Richard, James Monroe, Julia, Sara Caroline, Sara Malvina and Albina Josephine. She had a half-brother named Donnie. She died at the age of 80 on February 23rd, 1927 in Amarillo, Potter Co., Texas.1 General Notes
