Margaret was born on October 10th, 1858 in Cooke Co., Texas.1 Margaret's father was James Manon Skaggs and her mother is Susan Wright. Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Skaggs and Mary Gore. She has a brother and four sisters, named Mark F. Edward, Elizabeth, Ellen, Martha and Matilda. She is the third youngest of the six children. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Henry Ellison, Maston, James Manon,Jr., John, Sarah and Nancy Jane.General Notes
