His paternal grandparents were Christian Sharer and Mary Anne UNKNOWN; his maternal grandparents were Moses Taylor and Sidney Marshall. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Moses, Edward B, Henry Milton, Samuel C, Armedia C, Catherine Jane, Chloe Elizabeth Hester and Sarah Ann.1 -
