William Senter 
William was born about 1810 in Cumberland Co., North Carolina.1 William's father was Stephen Senter and his mother is Anna Blalock. His paternal grandparents were Henry Senter and Rebecca Avent; his maternal grandparents are Charles Blalock and Elizabeth Smith. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Blake, Alfred Aven, Alvin Bralock, Charles, John Aaron, Henry D., Betsy, Sophia and Matilda. He is the fifth oldest of the ten children.General Notes
