Shelton Russell 
Shelton was born in 1888 in Spring Fork, Breathitt Co., Kentucky.1 Shelton's father is William Landrum Russell and his mother was Matilda Ritchie. His maternal grandparents were Andrew Ritchie and Mahala Miller. He has three brothers and a sister, named Andy, Grover Cleveland, James William and Paulina.
