William Lewis Robbins 
William Lewis was born on June 14th, 1891 in West Port, Indiana.1 William Lewis' father was William Riley Robbins and his mother was Emeree Basham. His paternal grandparents were William Lewis Robbins and Mary Ann Ferguson; his maternal grandparents were Obediah Basham and Sarah Ann Roberts. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Milford Filmore, Henry Harrison, Lafayette Layne, Edward Machlyn, Mary Ann, Laura and Della Catherine. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 70 on August 29th, 1961 in Long Beach, California. He was buried in Ft. Rosecrans Nat'l Cem., San Diego, California.1 1 General Notes
