Butler Grigsby was born on August 17th, 1793.1 Butler Grigsby's father was Jacob Remey and his mother was Susannah Grigsby. His maternal grandparents were Nathaniel Grigsby and Elizabeth Bulter. He had five brothers and four sisters, named James, John, Nathaniel, Samuel, Sanford, Amy, Jane, Lydia and Nancy Ann. He died at the age of 54 on September 7th, 1847.1 General Notes
