Mathew Preston

Mathew was born in 1836.¹   Mathew's father was Lorenzo G. Preston and his mother is Martha Gilpin.  His paternal grandparents were Moses Preston and Agathy Simmons. He has two brothers and four sisters, named William, Peter, Lucinda, Dolly Ann, Malinda and Martha.  He is the third oldest of the seven children.
