Merle Dene was born on September 23rd, 1933 in Carlton, Comanche Co., Texas.1 Merle Dene's father was Wilbur Orville Mims and her mother was Frances Mae Wall. Her maternal grandparents were Walter Wesley Wall and Dora Eugenia Lassetter. She had a brother and three sisters, named Living, LaWana Eugenia, Living and Living. She died at the age of 64 on November 26th, 1997 in Lamkin, Comanche Co., Texas.1 -
