James Brown Miller 
James Brown was born on October 25th, 1861.1 James Brown's father was Jacob Miller and his mother was Cynthia Basham. His maternal grandparents were Solomon Basham and Elizabeth Coffey Marler. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Coffee, William, Josie, Andrew Barret, Andrew B., James "Jim", Texanna S., Mary Jane, Johnanna and Georgia E.. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 47 on April 19th, 1909 in Pontotoc Co., Oklahoma.1 General Notes
